Well after Monday's game it is Jan Davies who is well out in the lead - she had a great game with Trevor Garfield to extend her lead.
Good to see the husband and wife team, Barbara and Keith Paige in second and third places. And the rest? well bringing up the rear in fine style.

Rules for the Umbrella Competition

a) All Umbrella games will be played on
Monday Evenings commencing at 6.15pm
b) All players must register before 6pm of that evening
c) Only Players who have entered the
Umbrella competitions may play
d) Each game will be played over 18 ends
f) No points will be deducted if teams have an unequal number of players

The competition will start the 2nd week after May Bank Holiday and will run for 15 consecutive weeks.
Additional weeks may be played if any games have to cancelled due to the rinks being used for:- Friendly, League Cup or County matches
The player with the best 10 weeks score will be judged the winner of the competition

Teams will be made up as follows:-

Less than 4 players - No Match (However players who turn up and submit a score card will score 9 points)
4 Players - 1 rink of pairs
5 Players - 1 rink with 1 pair and 1 triple
6 Players - 1 rink of triples
7 Players - 1 rink with 1 triple and 1 fours
8 Players - 1 rink of fours
9 Players - 1 rink of pairs and 1 rink with 1 pair and 1 triple
10 Players - 1 rink of pairs and 1 rink of triples
11 Players - 1 rink of triples and 1 rink with 1 pair and 1 triple
12 Players - 2 rinks of triples
13 Players - 1 rink of triples and 1 rink with 1 triple and 1 fours
14 Players - 1 rink of triples and 1 rink of fours
15 Players - 1 rink of fours and 1 rink with 1 triple and 1 fours
16 Players - 2 rinks of fours
